How to Use Two Tier Affiliate Programs to Your Advantage

To those who are not familiar with affiliate marketing, two-tier could be a new term to you but to those who are involved in this kind of money-making experience; it could mean a stream of income. Two-tier is an enticing feature of a particular affiliate program wherein, affiliates are allowed to sign-up additional affiliates below them. So that when the sub-affiliates otherwise known as second tier affiliates, earns a commission, the affiliate above receives a commission too.

In two-tier system, the first tier of commission is just like in the usual affiliate program. The sole difference is that it has an additional tier/s or sub-affiliates, whereby marketers also gain a commission once the people that the additional tiers referred to the program generate sales. Theoretically, affiliate programs can have multi-tier program with infinite number of tiers, however, there are practical limitations. As tiers increase, the affiliate program draws more webmasters who are mostly interested in gaining profit from other’s work and effort.

Two-Tier affiliate program is also recognized as Multi-Level Marketing. When you sign-up for an affiliate program, you are identified as the first tier and the person that you have recruited or encouraged to sign up is the second tier. If there are additional tiers, then the system can now be regarded as multi-level marketing (MLM). But today, MLM isn’t as effective and successful as it was several years ago. It is because at present, affiliates can freely select from thousands of affiliate programs and they can quickly switch from one program to another.

You could probably go wrong if you’re thinking that you can depend on your second tier to do the job for you. So if you want to use two-tier affiliate program to your advantage and generate more income by encouraging sub-affiliates to sign-up below you, make sure that you carefully choose your affiliate merchant. Pick those merchants who generate stable stream of high quality products, give high or just commissions, offers real time tracking, furnishes you with a proven and tested advertising arsenal and treat their affiliates very well. You can also sign-up for the merchant who gives high visitors-to-sales conversion rate.

It is also advisable if you engage yourself with a web merchant that has a user-friendly website which you can access anytime so that you can monitor your statistics including visits and sales. And if possible, choose the one with powerful marketing tools which you can use in promoting their products.

You’re just wasting much of your time and effort and worse, damaging your integrity once you promote poor affiliate program because your visitor will surely presume that the product or service you are reselling must be dreadful too. That’s the reason why it is important to pick first-rate affiliate programs. Through these, you can not only build up a good relationship with your visitor, but also, you can easily get more tiers to sign-up under you. You should also be cautious of some affiliate programs that give more importance on the profits to be earned in taking on other affiliates than on the income from sales, because you’ll just eventually find out that someone has already close those sales without informing you. Usually, this kind of affiliate program offers a very low first-tier payment but a sky-scraping second-tier commission.

If you want to start an affiliate program of your own, you surely have to decide whether it will be a single tier or two-tier affiliate program. Who am I to say which of these two programs are better? But let me tell you the benefits you could get out of two-tier affiliate program.

First, your profit will increase due to increased sales from the customers that your second tier has referred. Second, you have a much broader customer base to which you can sell your products and services. Then, you gain more and stable income because the customers referred by your affiliate and sub-affiliates could probably develop a lifetime loyalty on your site and your products. Plus, you have an army of sub-affiliates who will promote and resell your products and services to their visitors and subscribers.

Two-tier program has been a proven winner and should be the number one choice for the budding affiliates as well as for the affiliate program managers. When you start gaining profits from your site as well as your tiers, this is now the right time to say that you have used two-tier affiliate program to your advantage.

Making Money Selling Other People’s Products

A lot of people are now getting into online businesses and online marketing either to supplement their “real world” income or for it to become their primary source of income.  Why?  Because online marketing just provides them a lot of benefits!

First, you can reach just about anybody in the world who has Internet access if you market your products online.  That means a wider market for you, which can translate to larger profits.  Second, setting up an online business requires only a fraction of the cost required to set up an actual business establishment, which means a lot of savings for the business owner.

Another aspect that has attracted a lot of people towards online marketing is the fact that one doesn’t have to have his own products to get started.  In online marketing, one can start making a lot of money just by selling, or even by just trying to sell, other people’s products.  And getting started with this kind of marketing strategy is actually quite easy.  All that one needs to do is to set up an agreement with an online retailer or merchant, and after everything is settled, one can immediately start making money by selling the merchant’s or the retailer’s products.

Incidentally, the most popular and the fastest growing method of selling other people’s products online is affiliate marketing.  Affiliate marketing, in its simplest definition, is a relationship between an online merchant or retailer, who has products to sell, and his affiliates, who are willing to promote the merchant’s product on their website.

In a typical affiliate marketing set up, the merchant provides his affiliates with banners and text ads that links to his site.  The affiliates will then get these ads posted on their website and they get paid whenever traffic or sales is directed to the merchant’s website.  Affiliates are often paid on commission basis, although other online merchants would opt to pay a fixed fee for the affiliate’s compensation.

Starting to make money online with affiliate marketing is relatively quick and easy.  All that one has to do is to sign up as an affiliate for an online company that offers affiliate programs.  An alternative method, and usually an easier one, is to sign up as a member of an affiliate network—a network that hosts a variety of affiliate programs for different online merchants or retailers.  Signing up is usually free, although other companies and networks may require you to pay a particular fee.  Such fees, however, are made as payment for additional services that the company may render, like providing you with tools and assistance to jumpstart your online business.

When you sign up with an affiliate marketing program, you are usually required to fill out a form containing information about yourself.  Some affiliate programs may also require you to present the URL of your website and describe its contents.  This will allow the retailers to verify that you actually have a website with contents that are relevant to their products.  Some affiliate programs, however, won’t require you to have a website.  After filling out the form and all, you are then allowed to choose the affiliate programs you want to promote.

After signing up with an affiliate program and being an actual affiliate, you are now ready to start making a lot of money by selling other people’s product online.  How do you make money?  There are actually a number of ways for you to earn money as an affiliate, and most of these ways depends on the type of affiliate marketing program you’ve gotten into.

Many affiliate marketing programs compensate their affiliates in either of three ways: pay-per-click (PPC), pay-per-sale (PPS), or pay-per-lead (PPL).  In pay-per-click affiliate marketing, the affiliate is paid whenever he directs traffic to the merchant’s site.  PPS and PPL affiliate marketing programs work rather differently.  In PPS, the affiliate only gets paid when his referral converts into an actual sale.  In typical PPS affiliate programs, the affiliate would usually get 15% to 20% commission for each conversion.  PPL affiliate programs work the same way, although affiliates are paid a fixed fee whenever his referral converts into a lead for the company.

Some affiliate marketing programs are two-tier programs, wherein the affiliate is also allowed to recommend other affiliates to the merchant.  In such affiliate programs, the affiliate would not only be paid for the traffic or sales that he would direct to the merchant’s site but also for the traffic or sales directed by the affiliates who signed up with the program through his recommendation.

Yet another way of earning more profits with affiliate marketing is through residual affiliate programs.  Residual affiliate programs are affiliate programs where the affiliate gets paid a number of times for as long as the merchant keeps the customer the affiliate has referred to his site.  One form of residual program gets the affiliate paid a commission every time the referred customer purchases something on the merchant’s site.  Another form of residual affiliate program gets the affiliate paid a percentage every month for as long as the company keeps the referred customer.

With a lot of options available and a lot of ways to earn money, affiliate marketing is undoubtedly the most popular and the easiest way to make money by selling other people’s products online.  As to how much money one can get from affiliate marketing actually depends on the affiliate.  A dedicated and hardworking affiliate would certainly get more from the program compared to those affiliates who would simply sign up and forget about the program later.

Letting Others Use Your Articles

Let others use your articles, along with your byline which will tell visitors who wrote it and how they can contact you, on their website. This will help to promote your own website and bring you in traffic through the search engine optimization and promotional efforts of others. For you this means absolutely free marketing just for writing a quick article about a subject that you are already familiar with. The more people who use your article as content as their website, the more potential traffic you will receive. These webmasters will probably be using SEO techniques, banner exchanges, and possibly even a Pay-Per-Click campaign to get visitors to their affiliate site. These are advertising methods that either take a lot of time or a lot of money and they will be absolutely free for you just because you placed your articles where others could use them. There are many places on the Internet that offer to post your article so that others may view and/or use it. My advice is to place your articles on every single one of these sites so that you can reach as many webmasters as possible.

Money Making Tips

Affiliate marketing is all about getting paid for
selling products you don't own and not going to
jail for it.  Someone else goes through all of the
trouble to develop software programs, service, or
digital content products.  They'll do all the work
then you collect the money!

Affiliate marketing is a revenue sharing arrangement
between the product developer, known as the affiliate
merchant, and the affiliate marketer who is anyone
that's willing to promote the sale of product by
advertising the product using any type of legal
means available.

The relationship will allow the affiliate merchant
to grow their revenue by paying only for the
advertising that results in a sale.  The affiliate
marketer will profit by making a percentage on a
sale that he does not have to manage after the
sale.

Getting paid
Getting paid all depends upon how the affiliate
program is set up.  Some merchants will run their
own affiliate program.  They'll have special types
of software that assigns each affiliate marketer
a special link that's used in promoting the product.
The software will track sales of every marketer
and the merchant will pay the commission on a
periodic basis using either PayPal or another
method of payment.

Selecting products or services
Your income is directly tied to how well your
selected product or service sells, and the size of
the commission you earn, which makes it very
important that you choose carefully when it comes
to choosing the affiliate merchant you'll be
partnering with.

Choose programs that you aren't embarrassed to
promote and programs that you'll feel comfortable
recommending to your family and friends if they
were to ask you about it.

You'll do much better if you promote products
that you fully understand and are already familiar
with.  This way, you'll be able to write better
ads without having to strain yourself coming up
with the right things to say.

You should only promote products and services for
companies who have gone through the trouble to
provide you with training programs and sales aids
such as banners and other marketing materials that
you can either use directly or model the one you
own after.

Be on the lookout for programs with commission
rates no less than 50%.  You should give preference
to programs that pay commission on multiple levels,
which means you'll also have to earn commissions
on sales made by people who buy the products
through your link then go on and become affiliates
themselves later on.

Planning and Organizing a Successful Yard Sale

A well-organized and well-planned yard sale is more appealing and makes it easier for shoppers to see what you have for sale. After you've sorted through your belongings and decided what you're going to place in your yard sale, take a moment to sit down and think through how you want to organize your items.  Categorize your items, as it demonstrates your hard work and forethought in planning your sale.  Keep a close eye on things throughout the course of the day, as you'll need to resort and re-categorize your things as your items sell.
You can sort things into boxes when you're doing your initial sorting and purging.  Grocery, liquor and discount stores always have plenty of empty freight boxes, and they're usually free for the taking.  Make sure you gather several sizes to accommodate different items.  As you
Take a box with you and survey your house and your belongings, place your unwanted items in the box until it's full.  Select a central location or room in your house to coordinate your sale items. Continue with this process until you've sorted through all your belongings in both your home and garage.  Be sure to go through places like your drawers, closets, sheds, cupboards and your pantry.   Don't forget your attic or basement as well.
After you've gathered all your sale items, sort them into categories to group them into for your sale.  This can be done either by category or price.  Periodically during your sale, move items that haven't sold to another table or re-locate them on the same table. However, don't do this during times when you have lots of traffic.  If you notice certain categories of items are not selling as well as others, you might want to adjust your prices accordingly or move them closer to the entrance to your sale so they are more visible to those who drive by to see what goodies you have to offer.
After your sale is over, don't take the items back in your house.  Contact your local rescue mission or charity thrift store and make arrangements to donate your items.  Most places will be happy to arrange a pickup time to come by and haul your things away, and will give you a receipt you can use for a tax write-off.

CAMERA PROFITS USING YOUR CAMERA FOR EXTRA MONEY

One of the easiest ways to making extra money is with a camera.
More people own cameras than radios, and photography is the
fastest growing hobby in the world. Yet using a camera as an
extra income tool is largely overlooked!

With a little imagination, a flair for showmanship, and just a
hint of showmanship, the average man or woman, or even teenager,
can easily make an extra $300 a week with his camera.

You don't have to have one of the popular, more expensive cameras
either, or a lot of high priced attachments and equipment. in
many instances, a Polaroid or other "off-the-shelf" camera will
suit the purposes perfectly. The only special piece of extra
equipment you may want to invest in would be a tripod for
mounting the camera in certain situations.

One of the easiest ideas is to visit a children's clothing store
in one of the busy shopping centers, or the children's department
in one of the large department stores. Sell the manager or store
owner on the idea of your setting up in a corner of the store or
department, and taking pictures of the shoppers' children. He can
promote the fact that you'll be in the store taking pictures for
a special prices during certain hours---perhaps on Friday
evenings and all day Saturdays---in his advertising, thus drawing
more patrons into his store because of you.

You'll need a sheet or plain piece of material, or some sort of
imaginative set for a background. But this can be easily make or
build yourself. You should also have an eye-catching poster that
calls attention to what you're doing and the prices you're
charging. Unless you're a commercial artist, spend the money to
have this sign made for you by a professional. The next and last
thing you'll need will be a two-part receipt or coupon.

This can be a simple piece of paper about 2 inches wide by 5
inches long. On the left side draw lines for your customers to
fill in their name, telephone number and address. You might also
want to include space for additional information such as the
child's name and age and number of children in the family, for
future efforts, but keep it brief and simple.

On the right side of this coupon, have your business name,
address and telephone number, plus a quick outline of the
different kinds of photography work you handle, and perhaps a
business slogan such as "Satisfaction Guaranteed or You Don't
Pay."

To add a little bit of class to this coupon, take the basic
outline of this idea over to a instant print shop. Tell them what
you want; show them your outline; and have them typeset
everything. Then put a fancy border around the whole coupon and
have it printed on colored paper. The best color is a "dollar
bill" shade of green. If you want to give it even more class, you
could have it printed on green, lightweight card stock. You'll
want to divide the "information" side of this coupon from the
"business card" side with a dotted line and perforations.

If you layout this coupon properly, you should be able to get six
of them on an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper or card stock. This
means the printer can print and cut 6,000 of them for about the
same cost as printing circulars or flyers.

On your printing, shop around for the best deal, but in the end,
it shouldn't cost more than $60 for all 6,000 coupons which will
come those 1,000 sheets of paper or card stock.

Now, when you take a person's picture, regardless of whether it's
an "in-store" set-up out on the golf course, or along the street,
you give your customer one of your coupon-receipts and tell them
their prints will be ready in a couple of days. They fill in the
information part of the coupon and give it back to you, retaining
your "business card" portion of it.

When the prints are ready, you can phone the customer and remind
him--volunteer to deliver and collect; send them through the mail
with a bill; or make arrangements with a store to take care of
them until the people call for them and pay at that time.

Most stores, golf courses, bowling centers, and other retail
merchants will be glad to handle this part of it for you, because
it brings the customers back into the places of business, and
provides another sales opportunity for them.

By all means, be sure to include an advertising circular with
each set of pictures you deliver. This circular should explain
how the customer can get more prints, how he can get enlargements
of his favorites, and details relating to all the other
photography services you offer

Back to the original "in-store" picture taking set-up during
evening shopping hours and on weekends  for extra income. You can
call attention to your "in-store" set-up, and bring in more
business with a few merchandising promotional ideas. In the
following paragraphs we give the highlights of a few ideas that
have worked well. However, you should keep your eyes open to
observe additional promotional ideas that could be adapted to fit
your new business.

Dress a helper in a clown suit, and take pictures of the kids in
his lap or with his arm around the kids. Put a sandwich
advertising board on a helper and let him stroll through the
shopping center advertising the fact that you're in  a Kiddies
Clothing store taking pictures.

Promote a "Baby of The Year" contest where you can take pictures
of the babies, display the pictures on a "show board" and offer
$100 cash plus a merchandise prize in a big drawing at the end of
the year.

Set up a booth in the mall and promote "Instant Snapshots." Be a
Roving Photographer and take candid shots of shoppers and promote
a "Shopper Of The Year" contest. Work with a clown and have him
"attach himself" to the kids, and ask if they'd like to have
their pictures taken with him. Build and inexpensive and portable
set, such as an airplane, a race car, bucking bronco,
hand-shaking scene with a famous person or "balloon figures" and
take pictures of the people standing in or on these sets.

Get out to the golf course and take pictures of the golfers
teeing off. Get over to the bowling centers and take candid shots
of the bowlers in action. Do the same thing wherever there's a
sports event taking place. Be on the spot and ready whenever
there's an opportunity to take team pictures.

You might follow, or hire someone else to follow a Little League
team through its season, taking candid and action shots. You then
arrange the best pictures in a photo album with the team's name
and year on front. You should be able to sell one of these albums
to each member of the team.

There's also the idea of "just" strolling through the park" on a
Sunday afternoon. You can take candid and interesting pictures of
couples, children and people in general spending time with their
relatives.

Keep tabs on the announcements of new births. Send advertising
literature to the new mothers, and follow up with a phone call
efforts to set up photography sessions.

Keep tabs on the engagement notices in the weekend papers. Send
your sales literature to the brides-to-be, and follow up with
phone call efforts to take the wedding pictures.

Set up a household and business photo inventory service. With
this idea, you contact the insurance companies and determine if
they will approve and endorse photographs you take of their
policy holders' household, personal, and business property in
loss claims.

Most will, and from there--working either with the help of an
insurance agent, the agency itself, or on your own--contact
owners of property and sell them on the idea of you taking
pictures of the household goods they have insured. You take the
pictures--a pictorial inventory of everything they're claiming or
would like to claim on an insurance policy--and then identify the
pictures, giving one set to the property owner and the other set
to his insurance agent or company.

Picture inventories of household and personal property is still a
new thing, but everywhere it's been introduced, it's definitely
proven to be a super money- maker  for the people willing to get
out and hustle.

If this idea arouses your interest, you might want to check into
a going franchise operation that gives you a complete business
manual, operations guidebook, and ongoing consultant services:
Photographic Inventory, PO Box 4046, Morgantown, WV 26505.

Once you decide that using your camera to generate extra income
is what you're going to do, get out and use your camera, start
taking pictures, and allow yourself the opportunity to build.
Give yourself the chance, and you'll quickly begin to think of
hundreds of ideas for taking pictures, merchandising ideas for
promoting your services, and sales angles for increasing your
profits.

The important thing is to get started, regardless of how small
your start, and begin cashing in on an idea that's still in its
infancy. This is an idea that can produce new concepts for profit
every day of the week. An idea that can be fun, as well as
financially rewarding for you!

You've got the idea and the plan--the rest is up to you. You've
got the ball; now run with it!

10 Reasons To Start Earning an extra income

Home based businesses to earn extra income have become widely accepted all over the world are spreading like forest fire. They have become most desirable businesses to start for apparent reasons:

Imagine how it would feel to get up at your own sweet time and not hurry to office in the regular chaos of snarling traffic all the while getting choked on pollution. And then, to begin the day as though you are fresh form home and nothing has happened. Listen to the Boss ordering you around and giving you the grind for deadlines.

Extra Income has not hurt anyone up to now, and it should not be hurting you either. If you are willing top do that extra bit of work or travel that extra mile for your boss, I am sure you will be more than willing to do so for yourself, especially if you feel that it would improve the quality of life of you and your family.

Extra Income does not come for free. It involves hard work but of the kind you would want to do. It is not hard work when you are doing what you always wanted. A little bit of inspiration could get you off the mark, wouldn’t it? Let’s get going point wise;

1.         You will be your own boss with no one looking over your shoulder. Freedom of time, moment, goals, finances everything left to you.

2.         Work at your convenience. Be your own time master. Flexibility benefits are more for mothers and people having other responsibilities apart from profession.

3.         Flexibility to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it.

4.         The above factors help you to pursue your regular income job until you are sure of the extra income business. You can always switch.

5.         Job security and fear of unemployment vanish.

6.         Sense of pride. Make you more of a complete person who can proudly say that he/ she is an entrepreneur who has achieved something.

7.         Self confidence going through the sky. This factor will help you face most hurdles in life with a lot lesser heartaches and stress.

8.         Limitations of earning do not exist. You can earn as much as you want by just stepping up the speed.

9.         Many countries offer tax benefits for home based businesses, since it is considered extra income. So greater credit ratings with lesser tax obligations.

10.       You can retire at your own time, at 30 or at 60, it’s entirely up to you.

Success becomes a commodity which you can measure with your own yardstick rather than others, which contributes a lot to your personality and the finances through the extra income you earn. The above reasons are certainly worth a glance if you are considering being successful and independent in life.

Analyze the above points on a piece of paper before making your decision on whether you want that extra income or not.

HOW TO START A MONEY BROKERAGE BUSINESS

...and Earn $100,000 a Year, Collect Large Fees Helping
Others....and Borrow All The Money You Need

Becoming a Money Broker is one of the easiest and most rewarding
endeavors available. Virtually anyone can become a Money Broker
with the smallest investment. You can start this business on a
part-time basis, and earn large "Finders Fees," or open your own
office and work fulltime with absolutely unlimited income
potential.

Until very recently, the "secrets of money brokering" were
closely guarded and known only to a few select bankers,
investment corporations, and business consultants. No other
business offers the potential income figure for so little
investment! As an example, starting with less than $100, some
money brokers have made $100,000 their first year in their
business! This is the ideal way for a man or woman to supplement
his or her present income, or change professions after a period
of time. It is an absolute "dream-come-true" for the
semi-retired, or retired office worker.

There is hardly another business requiring less than $100 in
start-up cost that can put you in a six-figure income bracket so
quickly. None of them give you the power, prestige, or
status---respectability in your community---equal to that of the
Money Broker.

To get started, you'll need stationary, envelopes, and business
cards with your own letterhead. When ordering, be sure to include
your phone number. Also have copies made of your Fee Agreement.
We have presented a typical Fee Agreement form (which you may
duplicate after eradicating the instructions we have given in
blanks)

As we started, the investment in this business is small; when you
have your stationary, envelopes, cards and the Finder's Fee
Agreement in hand, you have spent part of it. The other part will
be discussed now, because you have to "find" both borrower and
lender to really get underway.

Once you have your "working paper," you will run some
advertisements in your local paper under the headings "money to
Loan," or "Business Opportunities." Typical ads might read:

MONEY AVAILABLE FOR BILL CONSOLIDATION, HOME REPAIR,
BUSINESS EXPANSION, ANY WORTHWHILE PROJECT CALL JOHN
   423-8821

(This ad would be used to "pull" BORROWERS)

BUSINESSMAN NEEDS CAPITAL FOR EXPANSION. EXCELLENT
COLLATERAL AND REFERENCES. CALL JOHN JOHNSON AFTER 4:00 PM
  423-8821

(This one would be to attract LENDERS)

In response to the calls or letters from prospective clients, you
will have to be prepared (really BE prepared by practicing) with
the proper answers and sales pitch--(to the prospective
borrower): "Yes, this is John Johnson. Thank you for calling.
First I will explain how we operate. I'm a money broker, Mr. (USE
HIS NAME!)____. I bring you, the borrower, and the lender,
together. I have different money sources available---banks,
insurance companies, private investment groups of doctors,
dentists, lawyers, and other professional people. My sources are
in business to make money by lending out money. Let's see-- I
need to determine your needs and the purpose of the loan in order
to properly prepare the necessary financial papers for your loan
request as many as ten different lending groups in order to get
the loan for you. Once I have an approval on your loan request,
I'm paid anywhere from 2% to 10% of the total loan
figure...important for you to remember, though, is that I don't
get paid less I GET the loan for you. I do, however charge a $100
non-refundable Application Fee to cover my expenses in preparing
your request for loan papers and presenting this portfolio to the
lenders. In a nutshell, that's how these types of loans are
negotiated. Now then, how much will you need?

(Note that five successful registrations per will bring you $500
each week.)

This is where you begin to acquire the information you are going
to need to proceed--the amount of money needed---purpose of the
loan---terms the borrower wants for repayment--and a profile of
his background--education, employment record, date of birth,
Social Security number, marital status, general health, and
number of dependents.

Next you type this information onto the proper forms, assembling
all into a portfolio and presenting it with a cover letter to at
least five different lenders for their consideration.

When the loan is granted, you collect your Brokers Fee--a
pre-determined percentage of the total loan figure.

   (TYPICAL FEE AGREEMENT FORM)

YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS

AGREEMENT FOR FINANCIAL SERVICE

The undersigned,   Borrower's name, hereby appoints YOUR NAME, as
his Agent and authorizes him to submit to lenders data
information supplied by the borrower, for the purpose of the
lender making a loan or investment direct to the undersigned. The
undersigned aggress to pay to YOUR NAME, a fee of ___% of the
amount of the loan or investment obtained. The undersigned hereby
pays to YOUR NAME, $____ as a non-refundable fee for the time
involved to appraise the feasibility of loan requested; this fee
is separate from any
other fess due, if the loan is obtained.

Easy Profits Using PPC In Your Affiliate Marketing Business

PPC is one of the four basic types of Search Engines. PPC is also one of the most cost-effective ways of targeted internet advertising. According to Forbes magazine, PPC or Pay Per Click, accounts to 2 billion dollars a year and is expected to increase to around 8 billion dollars by the year 2008.

Let us take a quick look at how PPC Search Engines work.

These engines create listings and rate them based on a bid amount the website owner is willing to pay for each click from that search engine. Advertisers bid against each other to receive higher ranking for a specific keyword or phrase.

The highest bidder for a certain keyword or phrase will then have the site ranked as number 1 in the PPC Search Engines followed by the second and third highest bidder, up to the last number that have placed a bid on the same keyword or phrase. Your ads then will appear prominently on the results pages based on the dollar amount bid you will agree to pay per click.

How do you make money by using PPC into your affiliate marketing business?

Most affiliate programs only pay when a sale is made or a lead delivered after a visitor has clickthrough your site. Your earnings will not always be the same as they will be dependent on the web site content and the traffic market.

The reason why you should incorporate PPC into your affiliate marketing program is that earnings are easier to make than in any other kind of affiliate program not using PPC. This way, you will be making profit based from the clickthroughs that your visitor will make on the advertiser’s site. Unlike some programs, you are not paid per sale or action.

PPC can be very resourceful of your website. With PPC Search Engines incorporated into your affiliate program, you will be able to profit from the visitor’s who are not interested in your products or services. The same ones who leave your site and never comes back.

You will not only get commissions not only from those who are just searching the web and finding the products and services that they wanted but you will be able to build your site’s recognition as a valuable resource. The visitors who have found what they needed from you site are likely to come back and review what you are offering more closely. Then they will eventually come back to search the web for other products.

With this, you will be compensated 30% to 80% of the advertisers’ bid amount.

PPC is not only a source of generating easy profits; it can also help you promote your own site. Most of the programs allow the commissions received to be spent for advertising with them instantly and with no minimum earning requirement. Placing Banner Advertisements On Your Website

Placing banner advertisements on your website can increase your monthly revenue greatly. This option is better than being an affiliate for several companies because you will get one monthly fee no matter how many of your visitors go to the website or make a purchase. The main thing is for you to create an informative website filled with useful articles, so that you can generate a high amount of returning visitors. As your site rises on search engine rankings, the blank space on your site will begin to look more and more appealing to advertisers. Anyone can be an affiliate, but to have a banner placed in a good spot on a high-ranking website will bring in the most revenue for a company. Once you have established yourself as a site that can be profitable for them, you can rent out different spaces on your site for advertisers to place banner ads. Each month you will be paid the same fee, no matter how much they do or do not make off of you.

Making Money with Articles: Banner Advertisements

When you are trying to make money off of the articles on your website, it is important to effectively promote your site so that you will attract customers and they can see just what a good, quality site you have. There are several ways so market and promote your website, one of them being though banner advertisements.

What Banner Ads Can Do For You

Banner ads can help bring visitors from others sites to your own. Although monthly fees can be expensive to advertise on high traffic sites, in the end it may be cheaper and/or a faster way to start seeing significant revenue from your website efforts, rather than waiting for SEO techniques to bring your own site to the top of search engine results. Aside from paying to advertise on someone else’s site, there are also free banner exchanges to choose from. We will look at the pros and cons of each banner advertising method below.

Free Banner Exchanges

Free banner exchanges are when you and other sites exchange each others banners. Their banner will go on your site and your banner will go one their site. Although this option is free, there are two main problems with it. First, if you want your banner on a significant number of sites, it will mean cluttering your own site up with these banners. This could even shot you in the foot if you run an affiliate website because, instead of clicking on your affiliate links, your visitors may be clicking on your banner exchange links. Secondly, you have to be really careful about the types of sites that you exchange banners with. Some sites like to gather a lot of banners so that they can be a directory or portal site and not have to have any real content. These “banner farms” or “link farms” will do nothing positive for your site and, in the meantime, you will be bringing them potential traffic.

Paid Banner Ads

As we saw above, paid banner ads cost money, but they will eventually pay off if you choose the right ones. You need to ensure that the site produces the amount of traffic that they say and that they have your ad placed in a way that invites visitors to click without being too pushy. You also want to choose a site that does not house too many other banners on the same page as yours or that there are no competitor links on the same page.

All in all, banner ads can end up being profitable for you site if you go about it the right way. If you do decide to check out banner advertisement as a marketing avenue, be sure to keep the above tips in mind.
